Incident Update:
A remediation has been successfully deployed, and the team is actively monitoring the CDC connectors. The issue has been resolved, and all CDC streams are now functioning correctly. No data loss is expected, as the connectors have resumed fetching data from the last known produced offset.
The root cause was identified as internal issues related to assuming roles during the operation of the CDC connectors. This was triggered by an automatic CD change that redirected the CDC connector’s assumed role to incorrect configurations. The team is currently investigating the cause of this change and is working on preventing similar incidents in the future.
